Johnny E. "Whitey" Friley, Sr., age 64, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
On April 11, 1960 Whitey was born in Plain City, Ohio. The son of the late Cecil E. and Edna M. (Blevins) Friley. Whitey worked as a mechanic at various locations, some including: oil rigs, Conns Auto, and Alloy.
Johnny was a man of many passions, each one reflecting his adventurous spirit and his deep connection to life's simple pleasures. In his spare time, Johnny found great joy in working on cars, where his hands worked magic, bringing life to machines and sharing his vast knowledge with anyone who asked. His love for craftsmanship and detail never went unnoticed.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Johnny reveled in the serenity of hunting and fishing. Whether he was casting a line into a quiet stream or tracking through the woods, he found peace in nature's embrace, always respecting the world around him.
