Ronald D. Nauman, 82, of Marion, Ohio, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Ron was born on November 6, 1942, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Walter and Genevieve (Ward) Nauman. He graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1961 and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
On October 26, 1968, Ron married Velma Maxine Stark in Marion. Ron and Velma formerly attended Forest Lawn Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the choir. Over the years, he enjoyed drawing, painting, and playing tennis with his daughter. In his younger years, he also played pool and the guitar. Providing for his family, Ron worked for Tecumseh Products until they closed and retired from Wyandot Popcorn.
Ron is survived by his wife, Velma Nauman of Marion; his daughter, Katrina Nauman of Marion; and his brother, David (Eileen) Nauman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Nauman.
