John Joseph "Jack" Norris Sr., age 82, entered the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at The Meadows of Kilda.
On June 21, 1942 Jack was born in Marion, Ohio. The son of the late John Henry and Barbara (Bingham) Norris. Jack graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1961, where he played football and was part of Stardusters Show Band.
After high school, Jack proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. During his time in the Army, Jack's love for the game of golf blossomed, and he became a distinguished member of the United States Army Golf Team. His dedication to the sport, his remarkable skill, and his unwavering sportsmanship left a lasting impact, not only on his teammates but on all who had the privilege of watching him play.
On October 29, 1966 Jack married his soulmate, Marianne Norris in St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion. The loving couple were able to share 58 marvelous years together.
