Timothy Giltner “Tim”, age 64, passed away at home March 1, 2025. Tim was born to John Giltner Sr. and Fern (Mollohan) Giltner July 19, 1960, in Leesburg, Virginia.Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Fern Giltner. Tim is survived by father, John Giltner Sr. of Marion; daughter, Kaitlyn (Jack) Emerson of California; brother, John Giltner Jr.; sister, June (Jeff) Dunnington; and grandchildren, Teddy Emerson and Amelia Emerson.Tim graduated from The Ohio State University with an Associate degree. He retired from work at Whirlpool of Marion. He loved the outdoors and was even a wilderness guide for a number of years. Tim enjoyed being on the water, fishing, camping, and nature hikes. He also loved his dog "Yellow" very dearly. Tim will be missed by all that knew him.There will be no formal services per the families' request.
