Gordon Lewis Wall, age 82, passed away in Columbus, Ohio, on March 15, 2025. He was born to Robert Franklin and Debora Gene (West) Wall in Columbus, Ohio, in December of 1942. Gordon graduated from Columbus North High School before deciding to enlist in the Marine Corps in July of 1961. His last assignment was in Los Alamitos, California. He served in the Vietnam War as a frontline radio repairman and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant before his honorable discharge in November of 1967. After his service overseas, Gordon went to The Ohio State University and received his Master's degree in Political Science in 1971. He was elated to also receive an invitation from the Cincinnati Bengal's training camp. He worked at Marion Automatic Music and retired from Fujitsu after 25 years.
