Alice Joy "Joyce" Berry, age 84 of Marion, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
Joyce was born January 15, 1941 in Marion, the daughter of William Ted and Mary Alice (Welker) Thomas. On May 1, 1965 she was united in marriage to Jerry Robert Berry, Sr.
Joyce was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife and mother to her family. In her younger years she enjoyed roller skating, swimming and camping. She was always up for an adventure. Additionally, Joyce was quite the crafter. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. When her granddaughters were little, she loved to make clothes for their Barbies and then have fashion shows with them. Joyce also had a love for animals, and with her green thumb, always had the most beautiful gardens. She had a heart of gold, always thinking of others and caring for them with her generous spirit. Joyce had a deep and abiding faith in God and was a longtime member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church. She is smiling down from above, filled with joy and peace as she is re
