Mary Elizabeth Large, 84, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Wyndmoor of Marion.
Born on February 28, 1941, in Marion to the late Francis and Flo Leah (Manley) Everly, Mary grew up in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She married Harold Large on September 25, 1959, and together they built their home on Silver Street, where Mary lived for over 60 years. Harold preceded her in death on April 2, 2005.
Mary enjoyed BINGO, often playing every night of the week. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and, in her younger years, summer trips to fish on Lake Erie. Being a homebody, Mary often worked on adult coloring books and was rarely without a beloved dog by her side.
She is survived by her four sons, Eddie (Barb) Large, Robert (Linda) Large, Doug (Cheryl) Large, and Harold (Diana) Large Jr.; son-in-law, Marshall Risner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Geneva.
